Gravity is annoying. Being, for the most part, stuck to the Earth is something humans have found frustrating throughout history. From high jump and pole vault to airplanes and rockets, we push ourselves farther and farther away from the planet with each breakthrough. But how do we get up into the sky? How do planes, rockets, and balloons work? More importantly,
what’s it like up there? In this experience, we will design and conduct experiments in aeronautics and atmospheric science with the ultimate goal of launching, tracking, and recovering a high-altitude balloon.
