Join a team of young minds to experience the core of working in medicine. Learn about health sciences by working on a team to solve a real, urgent problem facing the University Hospitals medical community. At the end of the program, you will present your solutions to an audience that may use your ideas. Throughout this program, you will develop relationships by working on teams, hone your research skills by going out in the community to conduct field research, develop communication and presentation skills, and grow in your ability to creatively solve problems, all while learning more about the field. This program is for the student dreaming of doing patient-facing work one day and looking to create solutions to larger problems, all while learning about diagnosis and treatment of patients. You’ll have the chance to learn about the challenges facing those who work within the medical community and make a difference by developing solutions that can help.

This program is offered through a partnership between the Korda Institute for Teaching, University Hospitals, and Hawken School.
