Hawken Day Camps has a long history of providing some of the best summer enrichment opportunities in Greater Cleveland. Children of all ages can choose from a broad menu of programs that includes a variety of sports, arts, science, adventure, design and construction, and aquatics activities that are specifically designed to be age-appropriate, fun, and worthwhile. No matter what program your child chooses, you can be assured that he or she will learn new skills, practice taking healthy risks, and accomplish meaningful goals; at the same time, their curiosity, creativity, and thinking skills will be greatly enriched.
Campers at Hawken Day Camp spend their summers learning new skills and building friendships, all in a fun, safe, and nurturing environment. Our experienced staff members work to facilitate connections among and between campers, taking special care to ensure that each child feels included and accepted. This feeling of camaraderie among campers reinforces each child’s sense of well-being and forms the basis for happy, life-long memories.
In addition to our emotionally nurturing environment, campers are provided with a nutritious lunch each day and have the option to participate in our pre- and after-care services. For safety reasons, all campers are required to wear authentic camp t-shirts, which can be purchased form the camp office beginning one week prior to the start of camp and throughout the camp season.
