  • Boys Soccer Camp

    Dates: Session #1 - June 9-13
    Times: 9 am-12 pm
    Who: Rising 4th-8th grade boys and girls
    Location: Gates Mills Campus  
    Cost: $125

    Led by Vlad Muresan, Hawken School varsity soccer coach, as well as area club and high school coaches and players, Hawken Elite ID Soccer Camp is a one-week soccer camp with two sessions for high-level players, both boys and girls, who are rising 4th – 8th graders. Each day we will focus on different skill sets including dribbling, passing and receiving, heading, crossing, shooting, and team play. In addition to skill development, emphasis will be placed on exciting soccer-based games such as small-sided games, skill games, and scrimmages.

    All sessions will be challenging and fun! Players will be divided into age and ability groups based on number of participants. Player-to-coach ratio will not exceed 12 to 1. All players will receive a Hawken Soccer Camp T-shirt.
     
    Vlad Muresan has been the technical director at Liberty Futbol Club in Akron, Ohio for the past six years. He has been a coach with Liberty at many levels, including U-17 and U-19 boys since 2010, and he has coached state level teams with Ohio Youth Soccer Association since 2011. At the age of 24, Vlad became one of the youngest coaches in America to earn his “A” license.

  • Girls Soccer Camp

    Dates: June 9 - 13
    Times: 5 - 7 pm
    Who: Rising 3rd-8th grade girls
    Location: Gates Mills Campus
    Cost: $125

    At Hawken Soccer Camp, kids will find joy in the game they love while making meaningful improvements in the skills they need to be successful players. Skills like passing, trapping, positioning, defending, and finishing. Instruction and practice will culminate in a combination of fun and fast-paced drills, activities, games, and scrimmages. Small group instruction from coaches and Varsity players will give kids the attention they need to be successful, no matter their age or experience level. 
     
    Camp will be led by Hawken’s Varsity Girls' Soccer Coach Adam Severs along with members of his coaching staff and High School Girls' Soccer team. Coach Adam played collegiately at Denison University and coaches within the Shaker Youth Soccer Association. Coach Adam teaches 2nd and 3rd grade at Hawken's Lyndhurst campus.
