Led by Hawken School varsity soccer coach Vlad Muresan as well as area club and high school coaches and players, Hawken Elite ID Soccer Camp is a one-week soccer camp with two sessions for high-level players, both boys and girls, who are rising 4th – 8th graders. Each day we will focus on different skill sets including dribbling, passing and receiving, heading, crossing, shooting, and team play. In addition to skill development, emphasis will be placed on exciting soccer-based games such as small-sided games, skill games, and scrimmages.
All sessions will be challenging and fun! Players will be divided into age and ability groups based on number of participants. Player-to-coach ratio will not exceed 12 to 1. All players will receive a Hawken Soccer Camp T-shirt.
Vlad Muresan has been the technical director at Liberty Futbol Club in Akron, Ohio for the past five years. He has been a coach with Liberty at many levels, including U-17 and U-19 boys since 2010, and he has coached state level teams with Ohio Youth Soccer Association since 2011. At the age of 24, Vlad became one of the youngest coaches in America to earn his “A” license.
